Cadbury Western Hoedown

Yeehaw...Let the fun begin!!

The Cadbury Western Hoedown kick-started with guests arriving at The Druids Glen where they were given costumes such as cowboy hats, bandanas and guns- all to help them get in the Hoedown mood. They were then immersed into the Wild Wild West where they were greeted by hillbilly cocktails and fiddlers playing in the Saloon. The laidback atmosphere of the Hoedown made even the most reserved of guests kick up their heels and join in on some good old country western fun!

Décor on the night allowed guest to get into the spirit of things – from wagon wheels and wooden barrels to checkered cloths, wanted posters and hay bales - no stone was left unturned.

Guests were treated to a wide range of Barbequed food from steaks and burgers to corn jacket potatoes; however the Barbequed Whole Hog stole the show and was a favourite among the guests. The sumptuous Western feast was served with a cold tankard of beer and a smile. 

With an array of Western themed games including Dart a Card, Coconut Shy, Western Target Shooting and Rodeo Roper Lassoing, the Cadbury’s staff were kept entertained all night. And, as if all that wasn’t enough, the evening was topped off by the main attraction- The Wild Wild West Bucking Bronco Rodeo Bull which gave guests a chance to show off their rodeo riding prowess to their colleagues!

A great night was had by all!
