THE ASK

Three Local Enterprise Offices offices from across the North-West region issued a public sector tender looking for an events agency to help pivot their annual jobs fair from a live event into a virtual format.

As the successful agency we were engaged in the end-to-end management of the process - including recruiting and on-boarding local businesses, promoting the event to the general public and designing the the virtual jobs fair experience.

THE RESPONSE

We worked with the V-Fairs platform to stage the virtual jobs fair, designing it to resemble an in-person event, with key note speakers in a virtual auditorium and exhibition booths for over 30 companies.

Attendees could interact with participating companies, learn about and apply for hundreds of available jobs. We helped the Local Enterprise Offices to get businesses to participate in the event, helping to

on-board and train them in how to use

the platform.

We ran an advertising and PR campaign across press, radio and targeted social media to promote the event and encourage job-seekers to register in advance. We also built a bespoke website for registrations.

Our digital team managed and designed the virtual experience using the V-Fairs platform - comprising keynote addresses, virtual exhibition booths, and

interviews rooms.

THE RESULT

65% increase in attendance compared to previous jobs fairs.

424 jobseekers participated in the event. The attendees interacted with an average of 16 different companies on the day, and almost 300 of the attendees went on to apply for a listed job.
